I was privileged to co-author the book Soul Medicine (click here) with legendary physician Dr. Norm Shealy, MD, PhD. Norm is a Harvard-trained neurosurgeon, founder of the American Holistic Medical Association, and a great fan of EFT tapping.
Norm advises sticking to a very simple 10 point eating plan. When you’re tapping and also supporting your body by making healthy food choices, you provide both emotional and physical support for optimal health.
When Norm shared this plan with me, I put it to the test. I tried it for a week, along with Bulletproof Coffee and a Superfood Smoothie in the morning. I love Bulletproof Coffee because it contains healthy fats so you don’t feel hungry. That allowed me to do intermittent fasting, skipping breakfast two mornings that week.
I wound up losing 6 lb in just 7 days! I ate the foods I enjoy most, I ate as much as I wanted, and I did not count calories. I never felt hungry, thanks to healthy fats like butter, avocados, and bacon (all organic). The whole process was completely effortless. I had no problem keeping the weight off later using tapping and continuing with a sensible diet.
When you combine tapping with Norm’s diet, you get the best of both worlds. Give it a try, and just make sure you consume enough healthy fats to feel satiated.

Eliminate all wheat and gluten from your diet.
Eat eggs, preferably the organic free range variety.
Keep starches such as rice and potatoes to a bare and occasional minimum.
Consume absolutely nothing that contains monosodium glutamate (MSG).
Consume absolutely nothing that contains artificial sweeteners like aspartame and Splenda®.
Eat unlimited quantities of vegetables, preferably organically grown.
Eat unlimited quantities of grass-fed beef, pork, poultry, and fish.
Have two servings of fruit daily.
If you like dairy, eat cheese and unsweetened Greek yoghurt.
Drink up to two cups of coffee or tea daily, sweetened only with honey.
