The Top Two Tools for Your Personal Growth

While there are thousands of ways to approach our quest to relieve our suffering, science has allowed us to refine the possibilities and identify methods that can get us there quickly.

In the grand tapestry of human experience, we human beings are constantly searching for ways to relieve our suffering, transcend our limitations, unlock our fullest potential, and experience the symphony of life with grace and ease.

While there are thousands of ways to approach this quest, science has allowed us to refine the possibilities and identify methods that can get us there quickly. These are the techniques we teach at UpLife, and there are two that are so essential to health and wellbeing we believe they should be available to every human being on planet Earth.

Meditation

The first is meditation. This time-honored practice spans time, cultures and traditions, and holds the key to accessing the deepest reservoirs of our consciousness. As we still our minds and focus our attention inward, we escape the constant chatter of a busy world.

With practice, we can experience “Bliss Brain,” a state of profound serenity and heightened awareness. Our neural pathways, bathed in a cascade of soothing neurotransmitters like serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine, become primed for innovation, creativity, and emotional equilibrium. As we continue to meditate, we rewire our brains for resilience and well-being, fortifying ourselves against the whirlwind of life’s challenges.

Because meditation is challenging to most people, and the busyness of “monkey mind” gets in the way of concentration, we’ve developed a super-easy method of meditation. It’s called EcoMeditation, and many scientific studies show that it elevates most people to transcendent states quickly – sometimes the very first time they try it. Here at UpLife, it’s free.

Tapping

The second is Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), popularly known as “tapping.” EFT is backed by hundreds of scientific studies. These show that it reduces all forms of stress, including anxiety, depression, PTSD and phobias.

EFT is an innovative technique that marries the ancient wisdom of Chinese acupressure with contemporary psychological insights, and serves as a remarkable complement to meditation. By tapping gently on specific meridian points while simultaneously tuning into our emotions, we dissolve energetic blockages and liberate our innate healing capacities. EFT empowers us to rewrite the emotional scripts that keep us suffering. It is easily learned and works quickly. You can find the basic instructions here.

The bottom line is that you don’t have to suffer, and you don’t have to accept your limitations. Meditate, and you will set up a baseline of wellbeing in your life. Use EFT, and you can erase the traumas of your past and the triggers of your present. You deserve a magnificent life, and with these two supreme tools, you can create this for yourself.
